According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 62,993 people in Oregon who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 1.49% of the total population of Oregon. Multnomah County had the highest number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (9,906), followed by Marion County (6,836), and Washington County (6,179). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Sherman County (19), Wheeler County (26), and Gilliam County (29).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Jefferson County had the highest percentage, with 13.56% of its population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Klamath County (4.32%), and Wasco County (4.20%).
