According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 172,455 people in Connecticut who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 4.78% of the total population of Connecticut. Hartford County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (53,844), followed by Fairfield County (51,341), and New Haven County (37,520). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Windham County (1,998), Litchfield County (3,486), and Middlesex County (4,987).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Hartford County had the highest percentage, with 5.99% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Tolland County (5.65%), and Fairfield County (5.36%).
