According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 172,455 people in Connecticut who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 4.78% of the total population of Connecticut. Hartford County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (53,844), followed by Fairfield County (51,341), and New Haven County (37,520). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Windham County (1,998), Litchfield County (3,486), and Middlesex County (4,987).
