According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 541,902 people in Hawaii who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 37.24% of the total population of Hawaii. Honolulu County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (436,853), followed by Maui County (44,328), and Hawaii County (39,607). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Kalawao County (12), Kauai County (21,102), and Hawaii County (39,607).
In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Honolulu County had the highest percentage, with 42.98% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Kauai County (28.79%), and Maui County (26.91%).
