Maryland Asian Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 420,944 people in Maryland who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 6.81% of the total population of Maryland. Montgomery County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (163,507), followed by Howard County (66,288), and Baltimore County (54,968). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Garrett County (85), Kent County (251), and Somerset County (254).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Howard County had the highest percentage, with 19.95% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Montgomery County (15.40%), and Baltimore County (6.43%).
