According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 950,090 people in New Jersey who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 10.23% of the total population of New Jersey. Middlesex County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (228,813), followed by Bergen County (158,630), and Hudson County (124,555). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Salem County (667), Cape May County (908), and Cumberland County (2,108).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Middlesex County had the highest percentage, with 26.51% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Somerset County (19.49%), and Hudson County (17.18%).
