According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 1,933,127 people in New York who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 9.57% of the total population of New York. Queens County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (660,631), followed by Kings County (373,680), and New York County (221,995). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Hamilton County (12), Lewis County (76), and Yates County (93).
In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Queens County had the highest percentage, with 27.46% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Kings County (13.66%), and New York County (13.10%).
