According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 135,615 people in Tennessee who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 1.96% of the total population of Tennessee. Shelby County had the highest number of people who identify as Asian Alone (28,149), followed by Davidson County (27,869), and Williamson County (12,953). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Asian Alone were: Hancock County (1), Clay County (9), and Van Buren County (10).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Williamson County had the highest percentage, with 5.23% of its population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Davidson County (3.89%), and Rutherford County (3.67%).
