According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 304,739 people in Nevada who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 9.82% of the total population of Nevada. Clark County had the highest number of people who identify as Black or African American Alone (286,684), followed by Washoe County (12,295), and Nye County (1,573). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Black or African American Alone were: Eureka County (3), Esmeralda County (4), and Lander County (12).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Clark County had the highest percentage, with 12.66% of its population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by White Pine County (4.87%), and Pershing County (4.84%).
