According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 1,135,149 people in Illinois who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 8.86% of the total population of Illinois. Cook County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (705,153), followed by Lake County (86,580), and Kane County (83,560). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Scott County (13), Pope County (17), and Hardin County (17).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Kane County had the highest percentage, with 16.18% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Cook County (13.37%), and Cass County (12.22%).
