According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 88,720 people in Iowa who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 2.78% of the total population of Iowa. Polk County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (19,100), followed by Woodbury County (8,155), and Johnson County (4,204). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Wayne County (12), Ringgold County (20), and Van Buren County (22).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Crawford County had the highest percentage, with 15.93% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Buena Vista County (13.38%), and Marshall County (10.29%).
