According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 56,860 people in Mississippi who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 1.92% of the total population of Mississippi. DeSoto County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (6,024), followed by Harrison County (6,020), and Jackson County (4,764). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Quitman County (8), Jefferson County (9), and Issaquena County (12).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Scott County had the highest percentage, with 10.80% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Jones County (4.50%), and Pontotoc County (4.46%).
