According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 14,089 people in Montana who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 1.30% of the total population of Montana. Yellowstone County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (2,841), followed by Missoula County (2,629), and Gallatin County (2,184). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: Prairie County (0), Petroleum County (0), and Daniels County (2).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Golden Valley County had the highest percentage, with 2.31% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Missoula County (2.23%), and Gallatin County (1.84%).
