According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 177,876 people in South Carolina who identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, which is 3.48% of the total population of South Carolina. Greenville County had the highest number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone (31,011), followed by Charleston County (15,675), and Spartanburg County (14,932). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Some Other Race Alone were: McCormick County (63), Bamberg County (83), and Allendale County (139).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Jasper County had the highest percentage, with 10.52% of its population identifying their race as Some Other Race Alone, followed by Saluda County (8.02%), and Greenville County (5.90%).
