According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 711,721 people in North Carolina who identified their race as Two Or More Races, which is 6.82% of the total population of North Carolina. Mecklenburg County had the highest number of people who identify as Two Or More Races (87,490), followed by Wake County (85,418), and Guilford County (34,931). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Two Or More Races were: Tyrrell County (202), Hyde County (229), and Washington County (337).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Onslow County had the highest percentage, with 10.89% of its population identifying their race as Two Or More Races, followed by Hoke County (10.62%), and Cumberland County (9.92%).
