According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 46,665 people in South Dakota who identified their race as Two Or More Races, which is 5.26% of the total population of South Dakota. Minnehaha County had the highest number of people who identify as Two Or More Races (11,662), followed by Pennington County (8,591), and Lincoln County (2,915). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as Two Or More Races were: Jerauld County (50), Hyde County (50), and Faulk County (50).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Jones County had the highest percentage, with 9.27% of its population identifying their race as Two Or More Races, followed by Pennington County (7.87%), and Bennett County (7.66%).
