According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 2,222,462 people in Kansas who identified their race as White Alone, which is 75.65% of the total population of Kansas. Johnson County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (473,342), followed by Sedgwick County (357,757), and Shawnee County (132,398). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Greeley County (1,075), Stanton County (1,257), and Wallace County (1,370).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Smith County had the highest percentage, with 94.96% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Republic County (94.93%), and Mitchell County (94.72%).
