Maryland White Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 3,007,874 people in Maryland who identified their race as White Alone, which is 48.69% of the total population of Maryland. Montgomery County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (457,783), followed by Baltimore County (452,124), and Anne Arundel County (377,634). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Somerset County (13,076), Kent County (14,574), and Dorchester County (20,128).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Garrett County had the highest percentage, with 95.54% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Carroll County (85.96%), and Allegany County (85.72%).
