Michigan White Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 7,444,974 people in Michigan who identified their race as White Alone, which is 73.88% of the total population of Michigan. Oakland County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (893,318), followed by Wayne County (882,484), and Macomb County (672,264). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Keweenaw County (1,954), Luce County (4,533), and Ontonagon County (5,473).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Keweenaw County had the highest percentage, with 95.50% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Presque Isle County (95.07%), and Huron County (94.91%).
