Mississippi White Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 1,658,893 people in Mississippi who identified their race as White Alone, which is 56.02% of the total population of Mississippi. Harrison County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (128,098), followed by Rankin County (112,872), and DeSoto County (110,064). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Issaquena County (530), Jefferson County (894), and Sharkey County (970).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Tishomingo County had the highest percentage, with 92.04% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Itawamba County (88.91%), and George County (86.70%).
