According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 5,112,280 people in New Jersey who identified their race as White Alone, which is 55.04% of the total population of New Jersey. Bergen County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (543,849), followed by Ocean County (534,036), and Monmouth County (476,056). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Salem County (46,600), Cumberland County (74,606), and Cape May County (81,536).
In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Cape May County had the highest percentage, with 85.59% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Sussex County (84.51%), and Ocean County (83.81%).
