New York White Alone Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 11,143,349 people in New York who identified their race as White Alone, which is 55.16% of the total population of New York. Kings County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (1,028,774), followed by Suffolk County (1,022,846), and New York County (847,604). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Hamilton County (4,785), Schuyler County (16,750), and Yates County (23,264).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Lewis County had the highest percentage, with 94.50% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Yates County (93.91%), and Hamilton County (93.70%).
