According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of Rhode Island's cities and places, Providence city had the highest number of voting-age population who identified their race as Black or African American Alone (19.31K), followed by Pawtucket city (6.95K), and Cranston city (3.74K).
