According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all North Dakota counties, Cass County had the highest population density per square mile (104.55 people per sqr mile), followed by Burleigh County (60.30 people per sqr mile), and Grand Forks County (50.95 people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Slope County had the lowest population density (0.58 people per sqr mile), followed by Billings County (0.82 people per sqr mile), and Sheridan County (1.30 people per sqr mile).
