According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, California had the highest percentage of a state's population who identified as Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone (20.61%), followed by New Mexico (14.56%), and Nevada (13.48%).
