According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Tallapoosa, AL population of 33,012 people, 70.94% of them (23,419 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 23.66% of them (7,810 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 2.32% of them (766 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Two Or More Races.
