According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Macon County, GA population of 9,938 people, 59.79% of them (5,942 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, 34.00% of them (3,379 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, and 2.08% of them (207 people) identified their ethnicity as Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone.
