According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Jones County, NC population of 7,481 people, 64.26% of them (4,807 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 28.67% of them (2,145 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 2.42% of them (181 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Two Or More Races.
