According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Charles Mix County, SD population of 6,681 people, 66.32% of them (4,431 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 28.18% of them (1,883 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, and 2.46% of them (164 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Two Or More Races.
