According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the Carthage City, MS voting-age population of 3,467 people, 47.16% of them (1,635 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 36.17% of them (1,254 people) identified their race as White Alone, and 10.93% of them (379 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
