According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the West Hattiesburg Cdp, MS voting-age population of 4,332 people, 44.53% of them (1,929 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 41.32% of them (1,790 people) identified their race as White Alone, and 6.69% of them (290 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
