According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Hale County, AL voting-age population of 11,483 people, 55.47% of them (6,370 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 41.86% of them (4,807 people) identified their race as White Alone, and 1.86% of them (214 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
