According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Madison County, NC voting-age population of 17,481 people, 91.81% of them (16,049 people) identified their race as White Alone, 4.72% of them (826 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 1.47% of them (257 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
