According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Sampson County, NC voting-age population of 44,936 people, 55.97% of them (25,150 people) identified their race as White Alone, 24.70% of them (11,101 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 11.91% of them (5,351 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
