According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Grimes County, TX voting-age population of 23,045 people, 65.68% of them (15,136 people) identified their race as White Alone, 13.64% of them (3,144 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 10.32% of them (2,377 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
