According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Lavaca County, TX voting-age population of 15,681 people, 80.52% of them (12,626 people) identified their race as White Alone, 7.81% of them (1,225 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 5.66% of them (888 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
