According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Mitchell County, TX voting-age population of 7,215 people, 58.81% of them (4,243 people) identified their race as White Alone, 19.88% of them (1,434 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, and 11.88% of them (857 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
