According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Polk County, TX voting-age population of 40,664 people, 73.91% of them (30,054 people) identified their race as White Alone, 10.05% of them (4,088 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 7.38% of them (3,000 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
