According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Rusk County, TX voting-age population of 40,718 people, 66.62% of them (27,127 people) identified their race as White Alone, 16.56% of them (6,741 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 9.09% of them (3,702 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
