South Carolina American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the South Carolina voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 18,598 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.46% of the total voting-age population of South Carolina.

Greenville County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (1,800), followed by York County (1,579), and Horry County (1,300).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Bamberg County (20), McCormick County (25), and Allendale County (37).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Marlboro County had the highest percentage, with 4.10% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Dillon County (2.34%), and Colleton County (0.88%).
