Illinois Asian Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Illinois voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 601,201 people who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 6.01% of the total voting-age population of Illinois.

Cook County had the highest number of Asian Alone voting-age population (338,279), followed by DuPage County (91,512), and Lake County (44,174).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Asian Alone voting-age population were: Brown County (5), Alexander County (6), and Calhoun County (7).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Champaign County had the highest percentage, with 13.16% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by DuPage County (12.63%), and Lake County (8.12%).
