Iowa Asian Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Iowa voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 57,149 people who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 2.33% of the total voting-age population of Iowa.

Polk County had the highest number of Asian Alone voting-age population (17,627), followed by Johnson County (7,186), and Story County (4,696).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Asian Alone voting-age population were: Audubon County (5), Ringgold County (8), and Fremont County (8).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Buena Vista County had the highest percentage, with 8.38% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Johnson County (5.89%), and Story County (5.73%).
