South Dakota Asian Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the South Dakota voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 10,005 people who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 1.50% of the total voting-age population of South Dakota.

Minnehaha County had the highest number of Asian Alone voting-age population (3,445), followed by Beadle County (1,250), and Pennington County (1,210).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Asian Alone voting-age population were: Ziebach County (0), Sully County (0), and Jones County (0).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Beadle County had the highest percentage, with 8.97% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Brookings County (2.83%), and Clay County (2.44%).
