South Carolina White Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the South Carolina voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 2,645,357 people who identified their race as White Alone, which is 65.90% of the total voting-age population of South Carolina.

Greenville County had the highest number of White Alone voting-age population (283,978), followed by Horry County (232,325), and Charleston County (223,230).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of White Alone voting-age population were: Allendale County (1,819), Bamberg County (4,158), and McCormick County (4,794).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Oconee County had the highest percentage, with 85.65% of its voting-age population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Pickens County (84.03%), and Horry County (80.09%).
