Vermont White Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020
According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Vermont voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 477,428 people who identified their race as White Alone, which is 91.03% of the total voting-age population of Vermont.
Chittenden County had the highest number of White Alone voting-age population (121,404), followed by Rutland County (46,283), and Washington County (44,659).
On the other hand, the three counties with low number of White Alone voting-age population were: Essex County (4,620), Grand Isle County (5,612), and Lamoille County (19,185).
In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Essex County had the highest percentage, with 94.46% of its voting-age population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Orleans County (93.68%), and Grand Isle County (93.18%).
