According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the death rate for Colorado was 6.39. Huerfano County had the highest death rate (14.77), followed by Dolores County (14.47), and Kiowa County (14.41). On the other hand, Eagle County had the lowest death rate (2.28), followed by Summit County (2.38), and Pitkin County (3.07).
