New Mexico Deaths By County in 2023

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the number of deaths for New Mexico was 22,344. Bernalillo County had the highest number of deaths (6,250), followed by Doña Ana County (2,008), and San Juan County (1,490). On the other hand, Harding County had the lowest number of deaths (15), followed by De Baca County (39), and Mora County (56).
