Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 48,498 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in New Mexico and they represented 2.32% of the total population of New Mexico in 2018. Bernalillo County had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (14,996), followed by San Juan County (4,612), and McKinley County (4,048). On the other hand, Harding County had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (13), followed by De Baca County (18), and Catron County (33).
