Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 48,842 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in North Carolina and they represented 0.47% of the total population of North Carolina in 2018. Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (5,736), followed by Wake County (5,607), and Robeson County (2,491). On the other hand, Perquimans County had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (9), followed by Gates County (12), and Pamlico County (15).
