Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 25,416 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in South Carolina and they represented 0.51% of the total population of South Carolina in 2016. Richland County had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (3,914), followed by Greenville County (2,598), and Charleston County (1,634). On the other hand, McCormick County had the lowest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone (20), followed by Allendale County (48), and Abbeville County (50).
