Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 752,367 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 5.88% of the total population of Illinois in 2020. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (413,229), followed by DuPage County (119,334), and Lake County (60,150). On the other hand, Scott County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (12), followed by Pope County (12), and Gallatin County (13).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (12.81%), followed by Champaign County (10.45%), and Lake County (8.43%).
